This bag is everything I needed. It does not add any extra weight to my already-heavy laptop, while protecting it from scratches and impacts inside my other bag with court-reporting equipment (court reporter's writer machine and a heavy-duty metal tripod). the external pouch holds extra papers, earpiece, even the charging cable, but I am not using it a lot for charging cable since it's bulky, and I don't want to stretch out the stretchy material.
