We bought this to go with our preschooler's netbook. It fits nicely and is lightweight for him to carry around. He's had his computer for a few months now and it is still without a scratch or crack. He's got a Compaq 10.1 (which is the exact same as HP). The foam is a nice thick density and has protected it from a few drops. Overall, very happy with the case. There is enough room in the pocket for his mouse, but not his power cable.
