The case is very protective and I feel my new chromebook is very safe in there. The drawbacks are that the features are not that help full. The cellphone pocket in the front is neat but not many cell phones will fit. I do use it for a wireless mouse. The front pocket is very small but does fit the powercord but not much else. The other minor annoyance is that when I put my chromebook the top zipper gets caught and I need to take my finger and uncatch it before I can zip it.
