The Pelican 1560LOC Case is an unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical resistant and corrosion proof hard case designed for overnight travel. Similar to the standard 1560 but instead of foam it has pouches and sleeves inside the case specifically for your laptop computer and other accessories. It is made of Ultra High Impact structural copolymer that makes it extremely strong and durable. It has a 0.25-Inch (6.4mm) neoprene o-ring, and includes an automatic purge valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure. It is a hinged case with double ABS latches that seal perfectly and padlock protectors that provide added strength and extra security against cutting and theft.

One of the outstanding purchases of my life. Compared to $2k+ aluminum luggage, this is TRULY rugged and nearly impervious to anything except fire -- and any aluminum luggage will burn nearly as fast. If you want to ensure that your belongings get to wherever in one piece, this is the luggage to buy. All aspects of the design are top-notch, though the internal zippers should be YKK to reflect the robust-nature of the intended usage. Shipped a 17" laptop, an Xbox 360, a 19" LCD monitor and an uncountable number of peripherals and cables in this box via both domestic and foreign railroads, ferries, taxis, buses, and carts, and you can see the mileage and rough-handling reflected in the unbelievable number of deep gouges, scrapes, and cuts on the exterior, but not a single problem with any electronics or cameras. Plus my clothes are in great shape as well! If you travel frequently with a laptop, check out the Pelican Urban Elite backpack -- another outstanding purchase I made, and worth the cost and weight if you really value your laptop!

Only complaint? Wish Pelican would begin to focus on the luggage market and make a wider variety of sizes and internal configurations, as well as distribute to retailers to increase availability.
