Purchased a Kindle DX and wanted to get a decent quality protective case for it to keep my new and expensive e-reader safe. I purchased one of the "official" Amazon covers and was surprised with the reviews regarding the mounting system which, upon arrival, seemed that damage to the DX could be possible under certain conditions. I looked around and found this cover buried pages deep with no reviews but the mounting system looked excellent so I gave it a try.
The silicon case fits snugly and has cutouts for the power/audio panel on top and the joy stick on the bottom, there are also raised areas surrounding the edges of the buttons so they can be easily identified by feel as the semi-opaque cover would make finding them by eye hard. The mounting of the skin to the case is simple and a bit clever and looks as though it should hold up over time.
All in all I would definitely recommend this case to anyone with a Kindle DX and will add updates to my review if any unforeseen issues arise.
