I was looking for a simple cover that would protect the exterior of my 15" macbook pro taking it in and out of my laptop bag and the daily use around the house and at the office. I was already getting scratches from the zipper and other things in my bag. I was also wanting some sort of protection in case i dropped it (I figured it was inevitable).
The iLuv cover arrived quickly and went on easily. I was surprised how securely the top and bottom adhere without much purchase (it grips the corners). Its easy to remove if and when things get between the cover and the laptop. The rubber corners are reasonable protection in case of bumps or drops and the clear cover still lets the classy body of the laptop show through. The bottom cover has vents if your laptop has them, mine does not. It closes completely and adds just a minor amount of weight and size. Still better than the Dell I upgraded from without a cover. Its just what I wanted and well worth the cost.

I'm a huge fan of Booq bags. I've had a few different models of the past few years and this is my first messenger bag by them. I recently purchased a 13" MacBook Air (replacing my 11") and I needed a bag to carry around a few items. I went through a few backpacks, never fully accepting the drawbacks (bulky being the main one) so I went back to messenger bag hunting. I came across the two smallish messenger bags by Booq (this one and the Mamba Slim) so I purchased both. The Slim proved to be just that...slim. Too slim for my liking and for the items I carry on a daily basis, so I returned it. Which lead me to this one.

It really is the perfect size for me. Small enough that it doesn't look huge and big enough to carry my essentials. What I carry daily: 13" MacBook Air, iPad 3, Playstation Vita, Canon S100, 2 Portable Hard drives, AC Adapters for all of my devices, a bluetooth mouse, miscellaneous grooming products like chapstick/lotion/medications, some pens and pencils and of course all of the random cables and usb thumb drives I like to use. All of these things fit and with room to spare. The main compartment houses the Air/iPad/Vita/Hard Drives/Camera and a few cables and the rest goes in the zippered compartment in the front. This is the only drawback as far as I'm concerned. There aren't a ton of organizational pockets so the front portion is a mish mash of cables/usb sticks/etc. So I purchased a Cacoon cable organizer to put in the front pocket to rectify that. Other than that little issue, the bag is phenomenal. The fact that the 13" Air and the iPad can sit side by side, with padding around both in the main compartment is a huge plus to me. Easy access to both and they are both protected completely.

The build quality is fantastic and the fabric is really attractive. I certainly wouldn't call it black, more of a charcoal color, but it's dark enough where it won't attract a bunch of dirt and grime. The texture is nice and the zippers and straps are all top notch in terms of quality and comfort. It also includes the Teralink feature which is where you register the bag and if someone finds it and calls the number, then Booq can get in touch with you so that you can get your bag back (assuming it's found by an honest soul).

All in all, I definitely recommend this bag to anyone looking to carry a smaller bag that is easy to use and stylish to boot.

I bought this backpack 4 months ago to replace a briefcase style bag.

I have been very pleased with it. The construction is of sturdy black nylon throughout.

I use the two exterior pockets in the back for small headphones and a paint brush I use for dusting.

The first compartment has pen holders stitched in, so I use it to hold a legal pad holder and other office type things.

The next compartment has two dividers in the bottom third of the bag. One of the dividers is mesh with a zip top, so I use this compartment to hold a cd case, antenna. cords, flash drives and spare disks.
This compartment also has a slot to hold an MP3 player and a rubberized hole for a headphone cord.

The final compartment is sized to fit a 17.3 inch laptop. My Dell fits just fine. The bottom of this compartment is thickly padded to absorb shocks to your laptop.

The bag's hardware is all hard plastic like nylon. This initially worried me, but I have had no problems. Each of the three compartments is double zippered.

You can carry it with the handle on the top (I hang mine on a coat rack at work), you can carry it on one shoulder comfortably, or you can wear it as a normal backpack(it has padding against your back.

My only beef with the bag, is that all the compartment subdivisions I mentioned are in the bottom of the bag, so if you are putting in a lot of stuff, the bottom will become over full, while the top still has room to spare. Putting at least some pockets in the top third of the compartments will solve this, and I plan to do this.

Still, I don't see how you could get a better bag for under $35.00. HP did a good job.
