I know that this messenger is primarily geared for men but my favorite style purse is a messenger. While I would love a more feminine messenger bag, I haven't found a messenger designed for women that has the features I want. I wanted a vertical messenger in black leather with a magnetic closure for the flap, back pocket and two pockets inside. Not much to ask for, right? I have searched all over the Internet until I found this one. The Tumi is perfect size for everyday use. In the inside small pocket I carry my clutch wallet. The inside main pocket keeps my hair brush, cosmetic bag and earphones perfect. The small under the flap is good for small items that you don't want floating around. I keep only my phone in the outside back packet.

The leather is very nice and the bag is made very well although I did have to return the first bag I received. On the first bag the front flap was crooked. Although it wouldn't have affected the function of the bag, it drove me crazy.

One other thing I have to mention is that the photos of this bag show it holding an iPad in the front inside pocket. I have my iPad in a very minimal case and it doesn't fit in the main pocket (not tall enough) so there is no way it would fit in the smaller front pocket. You can put the iPad in the bag but the flap doesn't cover over enough to catch the magnet. Now without a case, my iPad would fit but just barely.

Another small con with this case is that the nylon strap without a shoulder pad, is very slippery. It doesn't stay up on the shoulder but tends to slide off. So I end up wearing the messenger cross body and that works very well.

This is a great bag, but 2 things would make it perfect - just a tad larger (maybe a half inch both ways) and a shoulder pad for the strap.
