We ordered this backpack for daily school use for our 3rd grader. So far, we're satisfied with this backpack. It seems very durable, made with thick material and heavy duty zippers, which is needed for a 3rd grade boy. The only small issues I've found are: It's a little bulky for my 3rd grader to get on and off the school bus. It's too wide to roll down the bus isle, so he has to pick it up and hold it in front of him to get on and off the bus. Also, the laptop compartment takes up too much room and it's not removable like other brands, which is fine if you need to transport a laptop, but my son doesn't. Those are the only two reasons I gave 4 stars out of 5. All in all, a good backpack.
