Great product; I've tested its waterproof feature several times (as well as taken it on a transatlantic flight) and its held up great so far and kept my computer, papers, and everything else perfectly dry. My only complaint is that it has an odd rubbery odor, but this feature may be unique to my particular bag and it seems to be going away with use. If it doesn't I'll invest in a deodorizing agent.

The foam padding for my macbook pro 13" seems to be giving sufficient protection, although I suspect the bag would still be vulnerable to being hit by a sharp object. Still, no scratches or dents after two weeks of international travel.

I'm glad that the inner pocket detaches; it can be a nuisance if you have a lot to cary. That is the bag's one caveat: it won't carry too much, especially if the items are bulky (such as a megazoom digital camera in a padded case). Also Folders for A4 paper will not fit--you'll need the standard size. But if you're traveling light it makes a great lightweight heavy duty case.
