This item is really good, actually, but not for an 11.6 inch HP notebook. I think the case could actually fit a 15 or 17 inch computer quite comfortably...but otherwise, the material was hardy, the padding was thick, and I really did like the case. I just had to return it because my notebook was sliding around and having a party in there. I think, perhaps, if the actual dimensions of the product was given, rather than the size of the computer it is supposed to fit, there would be no surprises of my kind. Amazon handled my return really well, though, so that is a huge bonus. Not a bad sleeve, just too big for my computer.
