This is a pre-purchase evaluation. That means I have not bought this bag and I'm sharing with you why I am not buying it.

I'm looking for a laptop tote. This one is so cute looking it is so hard for me to pass on it. But I'm doing the right thing for myself because two important features (rather, lack of features) stop me from buying it -

(1) That is just a bad handle for a laptop bag, or for any bag designed to carry weight. In my experience with bags (I've used several, several ones :)), when the handle does not have structure or padding it will weigh heavily on your hands and fingers. My fingers are usually overworked and get red from carrying weight that the bag handles cannot support. Think of how your hands/fingers might feel walking home with your bulging grocery bags 15-20 minutes from the grocery store. Unstructured handles on bags designed for weights, have a similar effect.

(2) There absolutely HAS to be metal feet on a bag like this. If I am carrying my laptop in it, or any of the items they mention in the product description for that matter, I will want to set my bag down wherever. I carry smaller handbags and a purse caddy so I don't keep my handbag everywhere. But I'd probably want to set my laptop bag down wherever. If I were to use a bag as cute as this one, I would not want it to pick up whatever is on the floor.

If the seller can fix these two features I would probably buy this bag.
