This laptop sleeve HAMPSHIRE of the Pack & Smooch collection is made from 100% natural materials.100% Merino wool (Made in Germany)100% vegetable tanned leather (most of the other leather is chrome-tanned)Our wool felt has a unit mass of 900g/m² and with a thickness of 3 mm it provides excellent protection for your laptop. Felt is water repellent, insulating and anti-static. While the material offers aesthetically strength it is also soft to the touch. At the bottom you will find finest leather pads made from 100% vegetable tanned leather which makes it comfortable to carry. If only they would have lined the perimeter with leather or something.

Pros:
It's a perfect fit for the Retina 15.
The little leather piece at the bottom is good quality and fit.
Felt is soft, and makes for good no-scratch protection.

Cons:
The material is just a high grade felt and nothing more. No padding, no outside protection. They just folded the felt sheet at the bottom and stitched it together.
It's got another layer of felt that makes another compartment of sorts, but it's so tight I'm not sure what you could carry in there. Maybe an envelope or something, but certainly not the power supply.
The edges of the felt have already started to dog-ear and bend out.
Felt naturally picks up any nearby pet hair, and proves hard to remove. I use a reversed piece of tape.
Took 3 weeks to get it here to US, came from Germany during Christmas rush.
Closures are hard snaps, and you have to push so hard to close them you may ding in your laptop. I had my wife sew on some Velcro so my laptop wouldn't fall out.
Lots of logos and brand advertising all over. If they would have put a few more $$ into the design and less into logos, it may have turned out different.
Felt won't protect laptop from even the slightest drop. Only way to use this is to put it into another case, briefcase or backpack etc
