This a minimalistic case, not for pack rats!

- If you carry your power adapter with you, it's going to be a tight fit.
+ iPad 2 : Has compartment for a naked Ipad 2. If you use a case/sleeve, you can fit it in front of the dedicated pocket.
+ Good padding around, except for the very bottom. I would cut a small piece of foam, or neoprene from one of your old cases and put at the very bottom. If I dropped the bag and it landed in the same orientation as you would set it down, I'd be slightly worried. That being said, it is one one of the better cases I've looked at recently.
+ Fits the MBPro 15" very nicely.
- Won't fit the Macbook IF it is in a Lacie zipper-less sleeve. you can shove it in there, but will be turning the bag inside out to remove it. I like to use a sleeve plus the bag personally.
-/+ you will get a magazine, or two in here, but not much else in addition to the iPad and the Macbook Pro 15". No text books!
- no grab handle.
+ Padded shoulder strap, non-removable.
+ Good style, looks too small to hold a laptop, so it doesn't scream laptop. Glossy appearance. Looks like a fashionable accessory.

Photos -- if you look at this on the Incase website (same model), it shows the straps as being detachable, and having a grab handle. The Amazon photos are correct for the Amazon product.
Being a minimalistic bag, it's on my shortlist, as I can fix the padding myself. There are not a lot of minimalistic bags.

I ordered the melon color but it looks nothing like the bright orange color shown in the larger picture (it is closer to a mustard color, kind of like how the thumbnail looks). Mine also came with pencil marks all over the front which I couldn't remove. It was not worth sending it back for the color or marks, and I like the design, so I kept it. Works great with my MacBook Pro. Case = 4 stars. Color/Condition = 3 stars.

This is the first time I bought laptop cases other than Targus and Dicota which is normally standard black plain design, I was attracted to the sleek design of the case and decide to try it if the cushion is not good enough I will just simply used it as a document case. To my surprise this case have a very good cushion support (memory foam) for laptop and most importantly is the cushion they have on the based is perfect compare to the previous one I had which only cover the side and not so emphasize on the based, I used it with 14" laptop which fit in nicely and the handle is sturdy enough for the weight of the laptop. Best design and cushion support I've used so far.

I bought one of these a year ago at Sam's Club for my youngest son because he liked the color. I thought it was a bit of overkill since he's in elementary school, but the price wasn't bad. This backpack performed so well that I happily shelled out to buy another one for my older son. I have them hanging next to each other right now and from where I sit, if I didn't know which was which, I wouldn't be able to tell you which was the new one and which was a year old.
